Okay, I found out what the issue was for me. In flatseal, find xivlauncher, go down to portals, and unset Background. I must've accidentally done something with that annoying popup...

PR #41 fixes the nag screen, thou it doesn't hide the option in flatpak.

All you need to do to use a custom version of wine is download and extract it somewhere (like ~/custom-wine, for example), and then go into the settings in xivlauncher...
