one new demo are not running
Hello Randy,
Thank you for the new update and the further development. I noticed that one new scene demo don't start. Maybe that can be fixed?
Raspi 3B+ BMC64 v4.2 standard kernal & 1541-II ROM

Looks like they fail under VICE 3.3 which is the version BMC64 uses.

I also tried it on a TheC64. It doesn't work either. So it's an emulator problem. But it's really rare that the VICE fails.
VICE 3.7 plays them okay. So whatever the problem was the VICE team fixed it.

Randy, that's good news. BMC64 definitely can't be upgraded to v3.7, or can it? A Raspi 3 is probably too slow..
I don't think the x64 target which is the one BMC64 uses (pre-cycle accurate version) is supported anymore with VICE versions beyond 3.4 so yeah it would not run very well on the Pi3. But if the problem was not related to that and it could be backported, it might be possible to fix whatever the issue is. But that would take some digging.

I understand, a lot of effort. I was on holiday and built a BMC64 (C16 case) project. I really like watching scene demos and a few didn't want to. That made me curious. I like the BMC64 project, it's very flexible and not comparable to a TheC64. Thanks 👍
Anything short of a Pi 4 would be much, MUCH too slow for 'modern' VICE (basically anything after 3.3).
Sir, I'm sticking with my Raspi 3. With Raspi 4 my craft project wouldn't work. Maybe the demo group just programmed it wrong ;-)
Edit: The board from "Faszination C64" only works with Pi 3A+
