More recent VICE version?

Hey there - not really an issue on the current build, but do you think you will add a more recent VICE build that includes CMD drive support?

The current version VICE version is 3.3, but there has been made quite some changes to it, it looks like when one looks at the commits. I guess one should take those in count if trying to update VICE.

After having identified that significant changes after VICE 3.3 resulted in major performance changes (and was the leading reason x64 was deprecated), a forklift upgrade to a newer VICE release would be a very poor idea (as it would eliminate the Zero and 2 as viable targets for BMC64 for almost no gain). It's probably a much better idea to consider backporting specific desired features to the existing BMC64 code base. A good bit of that has been done already.
