[FR] Serial Port connection for printing etc.

Hi, it would be really cool if it would be possible to use the the raspberry pi GPIO serial port to connect to an original C64 printer... or to an RS232 Wifi modem.

Just a wishful suggestion ;-)

I second your request! Even though there's no network support, it would be great if it supported either a couple of IO pins for RX/TX serial lines, or supported a USB-RS232 converter so we could use an external Wifi modem or tcpser to connect to BBS's.
