Is it possible to add an image to a header or footer?

In the notes on headers and footers there is a code &G to use a background image.

Is it possible to load an image in a similar way to calling .add_image on a worksheet and display the image in a section of the header or footer, or by passing the filename/location as an argument to the header/footer layout?
