Improve presentation of user avatar menu

The user avatar menu currently looks like this:

We show a very small person icon and the layout of the user id and name looks off to me.

I'd like to suggest we change this to:

• Show the user avatar icon/img
• Better layout of the id and name alongside the image
• Add opacity to the top-right avatar when the menu is open - I think this counters it now also being shown in the menu

These are small tweaks, but I think it looks tidier.

I can't find any argument against it tbh. We could take this opportunity to add icons to the menu options, but if we want to simply improve the upper side, I'm fine with it.

How difficult would it be to give users the ability to configure a custom avatar URL? I have a service that fetches users avatars based of their e-mail address / username for instance.
