Because I used to maintain Qtile and still didn't know much about that part of the codebase

well IIRC it's mostly deprecated stuff and the main reason I wanted to use dgroups was to evaluate if there was something left to move into normal groups, if we could simply remove the whole thing, or if it had a real reason to stay separate and that it would need better docs...
