cable signal

I bought this cable to connect my GBS-C Mr. Ao to the TV via component, since I'm using VGA, but it's not giving me a signal. Any tips? (I had the same problem the first time I used VGA too, but I don't know much about cables) Image Image

I'm not affiliated with the project, but let's do some troubleshooting.

I think such a cable is a bit of an exotic setup, so perhaps we should try focusing on VGA first. If using a normal VGA cable would work, then I'd like to think your cable probably would too.

For further troubleshooting, can you connect a regular VGA cable first?

Anyway, I'm not familiar with this Mr. Ao model. Perhaps you could attach some pictures and any info you have about it?

One thing I know, is that the GBS Control model I own, has a physical switch to switch between HDMI and VGA output. Perhaps yours does as well?

And look in the settings for something like YPbPr output or YUV output or such. It has to be manually enabled to output that, and not real VGA.

I now see that it's RGB but SOG or GOS, the sync signal is on the green screen, so from what I've read, it's my TV that isn't RGB.

I followed the procedure, the problem is that my TV isn't RGB. I'll save it for when I buy a Mister FPGA and connect it to the GBS-C.

Can you try to verify that VGA works with another tv / computer monitor with an actual VGA port?

At least then we can rule out a problem/misconfiguration on the GBS Control.

The VGA is working correctly. I use VGA on my TV, which has component and VGA inputs, in addition to composite, RF, and S-Video inputs.
