N64 RGB

Hello to make my N64 modified in RGB work on the GBS-Control, I must first launch my neogeo AES and play with the syncwatcher, turning it off at the right time. When it's done, the N64 RGB works fine. Of course, when I just turn off the syncwatcher right away, it doesn't work. Any explanation? Would there be a way to do this without having to play with the syncwatcher with my AES? A simple path on OSD ? Thanks !
