Down scaling stair step, missing scan lines, pixel blending?
I have been playing around with the down scaling function of GBS-Control with some modern games. Everything seems to be working as it should and it works very well for 240p type source content. However, I have noticed that the only method it provides for scaling is to just remove every other line which can lead to a very jagged / stair stepped aesthetic or it is missing important pixels for things like text. I was wondering if it was possible or in the plans to create a method that would allow pixel blending around the edges as a way to sort of dither the image like I have seen with other scalers. I think I would find more use of the down scaling feature if this were an option. It might be that the GBS-C is incapable of this type of down scaling method so I thought I would check here first.
