webtorrent support

Is there any chance rtorrent will be able to work with webtorrent in the foreseeable future ?

Due to the existence of peertube (like mentioned in #679), I think it's important that regular bittorrent clients are able to interact with the platform.

I'm mentioning @feross in the issue, just in case the people at webtorrent are able to lend a hand.

(thanks for all the work done and for all the ongoing work on rtorrent !)

We need at least to have a green-light from @rakshasa that the feature is desired in the project. Then eventually someone with the resources could try something.

I'd love to see this implemented, it would be a game changer for webtorrent because currently no other supported client can handle thousands of torrents.

Looks like libtorrent support will be available fairly soon. https://github.com/arvidn/libtorrent/pull/4123
