Because the previous fixes in that part of the code made other issues appear, so I'm building a new CI environment to test these kinds of things. Until it's done I'm not going to merge this.

The vagrant effort turned out to unsuitable for testing, so I'm now working on a docker version.

@rakshasa any updates on this merge, can we expect it in the next release at least?
