Always opens file in first panel

To reproduce:

  • Open a bunch of files in panel 1
  • Create pane 2 (split for example)
  • Open the tab switcher. The switcher will show on pane 2
  • Select a file from the list

Expected behavior: The file opens in pane 2 because the switcher was shown there

Actual behavior: The file opens in pane 1
