iOS verification codes autofill
Hi there,
Is there a way to get the iPhone to autofill 2FA codes stored in Raivo? I select Raivo within -settings-passwords-password options-setup verification codes using- but I never get the option pop-up above the keyboard like when I choose to use ‘iCloud passwords and keychain’ .
Am I missing something obvious, or is this feature not available?
Thanks
I'm also interested in this. Strange that no one responded to this despite Ravio on iOS being so popular.
I usually authenticate to Ravio using FaceID. Turned that off but didn't help. Is Ravio blocking iOS, or this is an iOS bug??
Hopefully someone notices this.
It was rather annoying, but I've since stopped using Raivo as they were sold by the developer.
Interesting! I didn't hear about the repossession of Ravio by a different dev. Curious what do you use now? I really like Ravio and hate to move away, but I need to have autofill working
I wanted one I felt I could trust, and after reading a few things about the new owners decided Raivo was no longer the best choice for me.
My password manager also allows you to keep otp within the entries (which I don't do), but tested it out and couldn't get that to autofill the otp either, so fear it may be an Apple restriction thing, but not sure as struggled to find any further info.
In the end, I just went with the built in iOS password function to store otp. Until we are able to have autofill with third party apps it seems like the best option. It's not perfect as some websites it doesn't realise are asking for a otp so you have to go into the password settings for iOS and copy the code. Other times it's brilliant and pops up at the bottom and autofills with a single tap.
