Duplicate tabs in the WIN desktop version of the application

How to reproduce

  1. Go to app
  2. Open a note (link) in any way
  3. After opening the link in the browser, a duplicate will be created in a few seconds See how it works: https://i.imgur.com/IdtfVrp.gif

Options

  • Windows 11 Pro (22000.318)
  • The current version of the application at the time of creation issue

Hey! I think it's because desktop app is a clone of web-app. So if you change "Click on a bookmark" mode to "open" than "open in a new tab" - there will be no duplicate. But yeah - settings of desktop app should be somehow divided from browser-extension settings.

I had the same issue and doing what @stlsht suggested fixed the problem. But IMHO it should not be possible to trigger this bug.
