Hey @Colleen2298 , almost there, just a couple of things that need to be improved :)

• [ ] it has to be a markdown file (ends in .md)
• [ ] Pictures would be very exciting, you could just reuse some from your blog!
• [ ] the header for the meta data needs to be included

Here is a great example from last year: https://github.com/rails-girls-summer-of-code/summer-of-code/blob/gh-pages/blog/_posts/2013-07-24-rails-grrls.md If you click on "raw" on the top right you can also see what it looks like in markdown.

Hi @Colleen2298 that's no problem, we are just trying to make sure that we publish all the team posts before the program comes to an end. As the program only has two more weeks, we are hitting up everyone who hasn't done theirs yet. Do you have an ETA on when you will be able to do it?

Hi @Colleen2298 did you have a chance to make those adjustments to the post. The program is over, so hopefully the pressure is off for the moment, but we can still publish the post, would love to post it tomorrow or the day after though. That way are are all up to date on the team posts.
