[Feature request] Make an option for locked recipes to show which pack they're gated behind as an icon overlay
For me this has always been a very annoying aspect of the RB workflow/game in general.
So basically when you become short on some item and start looking in RB which recipes are available to you, you always have to check all the locked recipes too to see if maybe there's something better just around the corner and you should just push through until you have that new one. Going through that process of clicking on tons of icons (in the recipe list) and trying to remember which one's which is not a very pleasant process (especially later when you long forgot which locked icon was the one you've considered). Being able to see which recipes are worth investigating just from the recipe list would make this part of the "recipe shopping" so much more convenient.
Me photoshopping something along the lines of what I'm saying:
P.S. I know it seems like I'm asking to do what the overhaul creators should in your opinion which you've stated multiple times (i.e. to make their recipe icons distinct) but this isn't really about that (even if molten drops had different icons you'd still have to go through them all to see which ones you should pay attention to and which ones aren't worth bothering with) and this isn't just a pY issue, I had this same problem in nullius and seablock too (and they have their icons in order). Imo this is the most daunting and boring part of playing any massive overhaul when you need to basically stop playing and go to unironically study all the recipes the game has (for just one of dozens of items) to be able to competently choose the best one at the time, so anything that'd help to smooth out that process would've been much appreciated.
I don't like the idea of making the icons look differently from what they are, but what if you could sort the recipes by science pack, and the science pack would show in the tooltip?
You mean like this?
Not as convenient but ig if they're gonna be sorted by the nearest available to you you'll know that the ones worth checking are probably the first 1-2 anyways so it could work.
