Margin notes with double bracketed page links don't work

First image is in my text editor, second is on the actual generated website.

One of the main ways that I would like to be using the margin notes is to cite other pages that don't fit well in-line or to cite other websites. Neither works at this point. @raghuveerdotnet

Hi Rob,

I'm working on this right now. Temporarily you can use the regular markdown link --- [some text](link_to_text) --- as a placeholder to get going. Will update here once I add it to the theme.
