Something strange happening with export of this gp file

Open DivannKokos opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

Compare 1 and 2 image. 1st image - guitarpro-to-midi export 2nd image - native guitar pro 8 export изображение изображение See what's going on? изображение This should be less notes, i think there 2 chord colliding in one bar. Maybe this because of combining dotted and not dotted notes. GP File: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DMP3qePnm0QT_Pmc2hCSmlKCNtjcr51e/view?usp=sharing Track is Rhythm Gtr. I will try now export as gp5 file. then convert to midi with guitarpro-to-midi

изображение Well that is strange indeed. Export from gp5 to guitarpro-to-midi I think work well.

Please if someone stumble on this with guitar pro 7 check if gp file from gp7 is too broken with dotted notes/this file... Maybe I don't need gp8 after all...

Conversions of formats newer than gp5 are a lot buggier in my experience as well, so I'm not surprised. I have tried to familiarize myself with the part that does the conversion for newer formats, but its quite convoluted and therefore hard to maintain.
