This error appears when trying to use the dx 11 renderer. Win 7 x64 system with gtx980 GPU, intel 4th gen i5.
dx 8 and 9 work fine.
This is DF 1.9.1?
Please upload DashFaction.log written after this error occurs (logs sub-directory in RF directory).
Screenshot is not enough to diagnose what happened.
Yes, I wanted to try this option to rule out my frame pacing issue mentioned in the other bug report as a potential GPU related issue, but I was never able to get past this error.

Oh, so you are attaching it to responses in your mail client? I don't think GitHub supports it. You have to open the issue in GitHub and attach here (e.g. drag & drop)
