This is probably besides the shadow thing a false issue. The instance of the bolt emitter isn't in the final product of the mod and the sorting issue there was due to the target emitter being below the liquid FX surface level. Also the shadow sorting should have had it's own issue page because a singular code change isn't going to fix two issues at once. I would expect nowadays that they would individually need fixed, requiring separate additions of code.
