Bios issue?

  • Device model: OnePlus 7 Pro GM1917
  • Android version: 11

Problem:
Error 81010 when attempting to play online via Wiimmfi on Mario Kart DS. I understand WiFi issues are generally reserved for discussions, but this YouTube video instructs me to file an issue here if I had problems with the bios. Mario Kart DS does go online, but only for about 10 seconds and it seems I get auto-kicked.

Steps to reproduce (if applicable): Follow the tutorial in the description of the YouTube video I linked

@Laurenzana Well that is not a bios problem. The thing is online multiplayer is not yet implemented. That's why you are getting that error.

@shabbirmahmud I get the same issue when I attempt it on my MacBook, and others have reported the same thing in the MKDS discord while using MelonDS. I just happen to have this issue specifically on Android as well, so I think this is an issue regardless of whether online is officially supported or not.

This is happening because you are using pirated BIOS files. Someone must have cheated using one of these dumps and as such, this specific firmware has been banned. https://wiimmfi.de/error?e=81010

The solution would be to dump your own BIOS files.
