Any idea how to make darkice work on raspberry pi readonly filesystem ?

Hello I'd like to use darkice + icecast2 on a raspberry pi running Buster I'd like to make the image readonly in order to avoid image corruptions, like in this example : https://medium.com/swlh/make-your-raspberry-pi-file-system-read-only-raspbian-buster-c558694de79

Any idea of modifications to make to darkice (and icecast) to work please ? Thanks
