Not working and not familiar with UIM

First thank you for the support on the last issue. I tried going over the troubleshoot guide, but I'm new to linux in general and the UIM external pages were not "readable" enough for a novice like me. The farthest I got was getting the UIM list and receiving back "( )" as a return, which for me looks like there are no list installed, but I could not setup beyond here, where also I could not find other guides that assisted me.
