Net maui toolkit mediaelement bug

It seems your app can't find MediaElement class in CommunityToolkit.Maui.Views namespace. Please fix this!

@radimitrov I was able now to download MediaElement via Nuget(CommunityToolkit.Maui.MediaElement), but exception thrown:

So I guess it needs to use java,so can't you make it work?(it would be important since the mediaelement is the maui videoplayer, and I wanted to use it)

@sedoLevi609 Yes, it appears at some point they have changed the implementation to use a library (ExoPlayer) instead of Android's MediaPlayer

@sedoLevi609 Not the fast way by including it in the app as that would add about 5 MB to C# Shell. I have some ideas that might fix this, however it would be limited to APKs and only work with packages targeting .NET 6/7

That's good enough. It will be harder to test the apps, since i will need to compile the apks, but still better than nothing. So I hope you can make it work that way and thanks for your help

@sedoLevi609 Last update isn't related to this. I haven't detailed small bugfixes and changes for a very long time. This would be a major one. Whether I call this a bug or a feature to be implemented doesn't really matter. It isn't something that can't be done in an hour or two.

This should only need a Java dexer (D8), however even that requires a considerable increase in app size, especially when everything is extracted so it can work. So I think an optional dynamic feature module would be best here if it is supported enough. However if that isn't possible then my Java Shell app can easily be made to act as an optional module for compile/d8 commands.

@sedoLevi609 I'm still working on another unrelated major feature/update that will be v3.1 when it comes out within a few weeks. After that I should be able integrate the compilers together. It will be v3.2. However a real timeframe can't be estimated since the time I have to develop this isn't a constant. MediaElement is going to be the primary test case since it covers all requirements so I'm going to post here when it gets to that point.

Not really. This is lowest possible priority due to extremely large amount of time consuming experimental work needed for full support and limited usage amongst user base. I will consider the partial support/implementation mentioned above when there is time in ~2 months.
