ExtraSamples describes the state of the alpha - https://www.awaresystems.be/imaging/tiff/tifftags/extrasamples.html. So I would think that the situation from @ioyaeu isn't different from the general request for CMYKA.

Looking at "DEVDEP.ICO", it's actually not device-dependent, but in "[both](http://fileformats.archiveteam.org/wiki/Windows_1.0_Icon)" formats. I presume that it is also able to be added to our test suite, and distributed under the Pillow...
