allow the option of a user naming a run directory rather than assigning an opaque UUID. this would allow a user to organize the runs by, for instance, suffixing with run1,run2,...

Hi @mdmiller53, are you sure you opened this issue in the right project? The Rabix Composer doesn't have the option to run anything as of yet.

when we saw a presentation from @gaurav-kaushik at the Cloud & GDC Workflow Portability Working Group on 4/12, running a workflow from composer seemed definitely in the feature list. this is a feature request, not a bug report. but you might be right, which github repository would be more appropriate? thanks.

Aha, that clears things up! Yes, the Rabix Composer does have task execution in its roadmap. We'll take this feedback into account when designing the interface for it. Thank you for letting us know :)
