For the records, I just tested this branch against `lullabot.com-d8`, and everything looks good to me. Just a heads up: we would need to remove [this file](https://github.com/Lullabot/lullabot.com-d8/blob/main/.ddev/web-build/Dockerfile.task) (and related files)...

I have tested these changes and they seem to work as described. Excited for this one to be merged!
