Investigate Compatibility with WP Responsive Menu plugin

There have been several requests for a "hamburger" type menu on mobile browsers. The WP Responsive Menu is a popular plugin that provides such functionality however my initial tests indicate it doesn't work with Independent Publisher. I need to investigate why that is so that this plugin can be suggested as a way of getting the "hamburger" menu with this theme.
