Feature Request: Option not to read non-article text on Wikipedia

I want it not to read things like [1] (footnote indicator) or [Edit] (link to edit the section), etc. I don't know, maybe some people want to hear that, so I think if there is an option for not reading those on Wikipedia, it would be helpful.
