privacy.resistFingerprinting == true breaks the toolbar icon

After the update to 0.3.6 the toolbar icon is broken and just shows a white rectangle if privacy.resistFingerprinting is set to true in about:config. Which functionality needs privacy.resistFingerprinting == false?

The toolbar now uses a Canvas element to build the icon, so the icon color is configurable. All the privacy prefs should only be applied to web pages, not extensions.

I can confirm this bug. Maybe it's a firefox thing though if what rNeomy said is true.

Please test on Firefox Nightly. I'm hoping that https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1453916 has resolved this issue. :)

Just rechecked with up-to-date FF (61.0.2) and latest addon version as of today (0.3.9): appears to be fixed. No issues for me anymore, despite the bug referenced above being still open for this version of FF.
