Tabs inside tab groups are not discarded
Tab discarding doesn't work for tabs inside tab groups. Does anybody have the same problem?
Me too. Used ATD a time ago in the old Cent, then deleted it out because of memory leak (a lot of stale "renderer" processes after a set of discards, mostly with google login subframes, but not only). But now installed it again on the new machine, jut hoping for better, and what a pity. [Chrome-126-release] I use the new enhanced (bookmarking, hiding) groups functionality everyday so didn't noticed this bug until recent. Had though already about some ATD incompatibility with the new Chrome engine. Thank You @seyfullahari for clearance. Well, after watching a bit for chrome://discards I saw no one tab placed in groups never got "discarded (externally)" state. Tabs outside groups works exactly as it should.
BTW, not sure it needs a separate issue, a tabs discarded through ATD never gets these handy looking (native) circles around an icon, only a small grey dot regardless of ATD settings.
Upd: And "Discard Tab Group" (from button dropdown menu) leaves tabs inside "unloaded" group loaded.
