Discard Tab Group doesn't work with TST generated group-tab.html

  • Create TreeStyleTab group-tab.html with "about:treestyletab-group?title=foobar"
  • Create child tabs under group-tab.html
  • Use auto-tab-discard shortcut to discard tab group. Only active tab discards. Child tabs doesn't discard
  • Right click group-tab.html, select "Auto tab group", but "Discard tab group" missing in context menu

Is this by design or bug?

Would like to also note

group-tab.html can be explicitly discarded, but doesn't if done via "discard other", "discard all other" or "auto discard"

I also am suffering of this problem:

making use of tab-groups from Tree-Style-Tabs is great, but Auto-Tab-Discard won't recognize those special tabs as part of the group, hence the "Discard tab group" is not available in the context menu.

This slows down maintenance because I always need to do multiple discards for different trees.
Even though I makes more sense to use "Discard tab group" by triggering it from the actual treestyletab-group tab.

@rNeomy you have anything to comment on this, confirming if it's an intended behaviour or a bug? :pray:
