limit the segment duration

Is it possible to limit the max duration of each segment. Say I need the recorder to automatically create a new segment every 10 seconds ?

Posted too early.

I tried calling pause and record with no delay but there is a noticeable pop sound between the 2 segments.

The click / pop sound seems to be noted throughout several open issues right now. Will be interesting to see if anyone comes forward soon with a solution.
