Screen distorsions after --c6-enable

After running ./zenstates.py --c6-disable the computer got distortions. I the terminal characters got distorted. In other GUI programs sometimes the whole window got distorted.

Also I have a question: What is the relation between zenstates.py --c6-disable and the kernel options: intel_idle.max_cstate and processor.max_cstate ?
