App freezing on call screen when buttons are pressed - Nougat
Having an issue with the call screen freezing the whole app if you turn on speakerphone/view keypad etc basically from any input. It doesn't do it on every press but I can get it to occur on every call.
Only way out is to force close the app.
Anyone else having this problem and is there a fix? Running android Nougat, occurs on 2 devices tested so far
What andorid version are you running ?
7.1.1 or 7.1.2 ?
We have no issue on 7.1.2, we was experiencing this only on 7.1.1

One device (mine) is on 7.0 (oneplus 3 on oxygen 4.0.3) the other is whatever the latest OTA version is for galaxy s7, i don't have this at hand presently however
just checked, 7.0
I have the same problem. Running Android 7.1.1 (OxygenOS on OP5) and 7.1.2 (LineageOS on OP3) and both freezes as described above.
Same problem here, CSipSimple is unusable for me ever since I switched to OnePlus 5.
I'm running Android 7.1.1 OxygenOS 4.5.10
Seems like it's affecting mostly OnePlus devices?! Strange
Not just OnePlus devices -- seeing this on my daughter's ASUS ZenFone 3 as well running Android 7.0.
Seems that speakerphone mode will work if I hit the speakerphone icon immediately after pressing Dial, but attempting to turn it off later in the call freezes the UI. Same problem if I don't initially enable speakerphone, but attempt to do so later in the call. Only way to resolve the problem is to completely kill the CSipSimple app and start it again.
Works fine on my GS8 which is also on Android 7.0.
I have a Xiaomi Mi Max 2 running LineageOS 14.1 . Activating the speakerphone, numpad or settings has a huge chance to freeze the program UI (you can continue talking, but you need to kill the program when you want to hangup).
