Awesome work! If I understand correctly, you have decided to move it to a new repo https://github.com/geocompx/tmap?

I wonder if I could get access to the new repo to make punctual edits as I review content?

For myself

Issues encountered:

• Add a favicon
• Add button to hide the navbar
• Rename chapters to remove xx prefix. Like in the https://r-pkgs.org/code.html book, urls are prettier.
• Add a warning of the tmap v4 not yet released.

Hi @olivroy:

1. This branch/PR is still the main place for the updated book. I also sometimes push from this branch to the geocompx repo to test, e.g., the online rendering.
2. I still need to do a lot of cleaning. My current plan is to (slowely) reread the current content and make some small updates. Then I want to further rethink the book structure (this is why you can see the XX-chapters. We used numbers before as prefixes, but know I started testing some other orders of chapters.
3. Could you wait a few weeks before making any edits? (Your help would be great to have!)

@olivroy an update on the book progress -- I think that now most of the book is moved from bookdown to quarto and its content (including the text) from tmap3 to tmap4.

My plan for now is to leave this branch as it is (stale), and from now on, only work on the https://github.com/geocompx/tmap repo. I also plan to open a few new issues there -- any feedback or comments from you are v. welcome.
