What do you think about stoping ST2 support, because ST3 is out of the beta and it requires additional work in development and especially in testing?

I would increase the major relase number with this PR (because it changes a lot of the API) and we could just stop ST2 support in that step. For PackageControl...

I think I may just create an beta-prerelease for this after releasing the bracket highlighter integration and make additional refactoring etc. in new PRs.

If you have BracketHighlighter installed (which should highlight ruby blocks) you can try the lastest [`prerelease` (`1.5.0-rc.0`)](https://github.com/aronwoost/sublime-expand-region#prereleases), which extracts brackets from BracketHighlighter.
