New feature to download edited data

This feature is great but it would be a great extension to be able to have a button to download the data that was edited in a leaflet map into a spatial format.

I don't follow. You get an sf object back from mapedit which you can save in whatever geo-spatial format you want (or at least your machine supports) by using st_write. If this is not what you are after, please elaborate a little more on what ou want to do.
