Test roundtrip of long strings and blobs

Related to r-dbi/RMariaDB#69. (Successful tests of RMariaDB with libmariadb 2.3.4 indicate that shorter strings may have worked correctly even when longer strings did not.)

Test strings up to 64k bytes perhaps.
