Projects using qxmpp

Did you know any projects, ideally public or open source, that are using the qxmpp? As far I understood the library was initially created for Kaidan.

Additionally I'm trying to understand which native libraries exists and how they differs. The Psi clients is also QT based but they have own library (iris). In the same time I see that there is a pure C libstrophe and even a Rust library that also probably can be linked. The Pidgin's libpurple, Kopete and even Miranda. And they all doing same, but in incompatible or incomplete way. Is it possible to have one library that can be used by all clients?
