Calendar applet with many events look tall and skinny

Thank you for the amazing extension. It fits really well. Just a little issue. If we have many events in the calendar, it really looks tall and skinny. Can we have an option to move the events to left side where the notifications were previously?

The first one looks great. However, what will happen if there is no events or there are too many events? Will the weather widget change its position? Maybe, weather widget in top then the events could be a possible solution. Or, weather widget can stay with world clocks widget. Is it possible to have a scroll on the events. We can fix the height so that it doesn't look bad when there are too many events .
