[QuickView] Doesn't work on Linux and a workaround

I don't know if it is only specific to the Gnome DE but alt click is used to drag windows and maybe there is some sort of conflict. The workaround is to hold down the left mouse button and then tap alt

Thanks for reporting this! Brief research doesn't uncover any quick solutions to detecting the alt click under gnome, so next time I'm working on the plugin I'll look in to providing a setting to change the key to something like ctrl, meta, shift, or space, and perhaps also let you use something like middle-click as well.
