Menu icon unintelligible with ‘Use dark menu bar and Dock’

After having selected ‘Use dark menu bar and Dock’ in the General section of System Preferences, the Jenkins Menu icon becomes an indistinguishable blob of pixels. Other menu bar icons (Docker, Tunnelblick, Citrix Receiver, Telegram Desktop, Little Snitch and Apples built-in ones) don’t suffer from this issue (apparently the icons get inverted).
