Do I need webpack just for using this?

But webpack is not supported according to Meteor Core Development ? Is the webpack conflicting with ecmascript??? Or can I only install the necessary webpack:css? Possible to do this without webpack ?

It was mentioned that in order to have CSS applied, I should use webpack:css, but what if I don't want to use webpack??
