Add support for Arabic numerals

The users of this app in the Maghreb would highly appreciate adding support for Arabic numerals in the Aya and Surah numbers. The current app only has support Hindi numerals.

Could you post a screenshot of what you mean? It looks like Arabic numerals for the Ayas and Surahs to me.

Top row is Arabic numerals. The second row is Hindi/Persian numerals.

Adding support for Arabic numerals would make it easy for Maghreb users (Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Libya) to bookmark and search.

Shukran and baraka allaho fik!

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته My brothers, the both numbers are arabic, the numerals1,2 ...were developed in the Maghreb (Algeria, Morroco, Tunisia...)  in North Africa.

Please read this article: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arabic_numerals

Insh'Allah we will add this option, same as Hafs version (Madani Mushaf 1429)، the Ayats numbers changes depend the device configuration. وجزاكم الله خيرا

i'm so glad that developers are addressing this issue. Can't wait to see this finally implemented.

جزاكم الله خيراً

We can only do this for certain page types today, since some of our page types are images that include the ayah marker

It would be more than enough if you coud give us the same layout as one gets before activating Arabic mode in settings. This way we can have arabic names and numbers(Surah-index and page number) at the same time. Ayah numbers are fine if they are kept in other format.

نحبكم في الله
