@ahmedre As-salāmu alaykum brother. Can you please assign this task of "timing" this reciter (marking the verse start timings for each verse of the Qurʾān) on Github to me? JazākAllāhu khayrā.

Thank you.

@kaab1 Wa-ʿalaykumus salām, dear brother, I am on this task! It might take a couple of months for me to manually "time" all of the verses for entry into the Qurʾān app, in-shāʾAllāh. This timing is required for jumping to the next or previous verses (by pressing the next or previous button) or jumping to any particular verse directly whilst playing the audio recitation. For we currently only have the audio files for full Sūrahs—they do not contain any verse-timing information for jumping directly to any specific verse inside the audio file.

So once this is completed, I will get back to you, in-shāʾAllāh. JazākAllāhu khayrā for sharing this fantastic recitation with us! May Allāh reward you whenever anyone listens and benefits from it in our app, in-shāʾAllāh!

Thank you! He was actually the student of the very famous Muhammad Rifaat. I really loved Sheikh Rashad's recitation but there was no place to see the verses side by side. Thank you so much!

May Allah reward you for your work for the Quran.

Sheikh Rashad recites the meaning of the Quran. SUBHANALLAH. Here is a video to keep u motivated. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-JJMLBQ-EHE&ab_channel=HudaTV

If you can understand a bit of Arabic watch this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3cIJUJZNWdY&ab_channel=fdweik12

Jazakallah.

JazākAllāhu khayrā for this excellent motivation! It will be an honor for me to complete this task as soon as possible, in-shāʾAllāh!

Again, thank you very much and jazākAllāhu khayrā for sharing this amazing reciter, I had never heard of him previously (even though I am a big fan of Qurʾān recitations)! I am loving his recitation style—I personally love a heavy, bass-baritone voice with a slow, clear, calm recitation style. Looking forward to seeing him in the Qurʾān app, in-shāʾAllāh!

Any updates brother?

Any updates brother?

Thank you for reminding me brother. I had gotten busy with other things recently. I must say, this recitation is a little more difficult to time the verses because the reciter often combines multiple verses together without pausing at all. That's why it was taking much more time and effort on this recitation. Nevertheless, I have been doing my best with it. Right now I am at Juz 27 out of 30, so most of it is done, alḥamdulillāh. Nevertheless, the most difficult part is remaining because the verses get shorter in the last part of the Qurʾān so one has to note the time for more locations than usual. Let me restart the work today, in-shāʾAllāh. I hope I will be able to deliver soon, in-shāʾAllāh. I feel really sorry for the delay. JazākAllāhu khayrā for the wait.

No problem. I completely understand. Thank you for the update and also for working on the recitation. May Allah reward you immensely in this world and the next. Jazakallah.
