Adding the ten Qira'at...

I am reaching you out as a representative of Rewaya-Egycom regarding adding the qira'at to your application and website. Rewaya-Egycom spent years collecting their data and the result is this. The website is broken because it has not been updated for years. But the data is there: 10 qira'at with 2 rewayat for each qira'ah. This means there are 20 complete qira'at: both pages and audio. The data has been revised thoroughly over the years. The main problem was in the software and the marketing of their products.

Rewaya-Egycom does not exist anymore, but the founders wanted to have this collective effort be in the hands of every Muslim who is interested in the Qira'at. So we looked at the applications in the market and we thought it is better to make the qira'at an addition to an existing application. The intention is to serve the Book of Allah. We finally chose your application because it is open source and its design fits our needs.

The first question will be, are you interested in such addition? And the second question is, if you are interested in such addition, what will be the next step?

This is actually of interest (at least it is in quran_android for now), but probably in a slightly different way. But unfortunately, it has been difficault to implement other qiraat thus far. Mainly because we want to introduce it to the right audience, with the same features already available in Hafs (like text Search, Audio, Tafseer and Translations).

BTW, Qaloon and Warsh (Asbahani) are already available on the store.

So sorry for getting back that late. I'm definitely interested in such data and expanding the app to include all Qira'at and rewayat inshaa'Allah.

While, in the next few months I'll be working on adding the other supported Qira'at by the Android App to the iOS app. I think if I can get this data, I will consider using them in this work inshaa'Allah.

One important aspect about the data is its authenticity. This will be important to verify. If you can help me with this, it would be great. If not, I can still manually verify the data and support one rewaya at a time.
