windows 11 vm will not run

I confirm this bug has not already been reported

  • [x] I have searched the issues and this bug has not been reported previously

Clicking the play button on a windows 11 install doesn't do anything.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Follow the steps to create a new machine.
  2. Go to manage existing machines.
  3. Press the play button.
  4. See error

Expected behavior The virtual machine is supposed to start after clicking the play button.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • Quickgui Version: [2.1.9]
  • OS: [Pop!_OS]
  • Version [22.04 LTS]

Additional context linux distributions like antix work without issue.

I am getting problem on windows 10 , can you check the screenshot below and tell wether they are same issue that you faced

also, i was able to run the vm by instead of using quickgui, using $ quickemu --vm windows-10-English-United-States.conf, after running this command windows installation started.

Hi, got exactly the same problem, for win10 and win11 H1. Other machines work.

In the meantime you guys can try using Virt-manager directly and use this guide for the configuration which is awesome. Works with Windows 10 and Windows 11

Same issue for me, using quickemu --vm windows-10-English-United-States.conf works perfectly, but starting from quickgui fails in the same exact way as in OP's screenshot.
