Gobal theme limitations

Good day, I'm not sure if the is a design decision or a mission feature but if someone can please help me in the matter. Our church moved from EasyWorship to Quelea about a month ago and we are very exited about the software. There is just one thing.

The concept of having a Global text theme with the shadows and a font style without a fixed global image or solid color does not seem to be present in the software. We will like to setup a global font theme and just drag images from the image pane to the songs in the set list without having to "copy from theme" to get the same text options for each song.

If there is a quick and dirty way to override the default theme to accomplish this, I'm up for the task.

Here's a thought on this. Suppose the "drag an image to a schedule song" action would, in the background (no button), copy the text options of the current default global song theme to the schedule song. Would that be an improvement for your church? I can't say if this technically possible of desirable, but our church would sure benefit from this.

Thanks Dirk, "copy the text options of the current default global song theme" sounds like the answer 👌 That would definitely be an improvement at our church. I will ask Berry if I can't find the code or configs to do it.
